Cody Christian reflects on his role as Theo Raeken in Teen Wolf

During the Beacon Hills Forever 4 organized by Dream It Conventions in January 2026, Cody Christian spoke in depth about his experience on Teen Wolf. The actor, who portrayed Theo Raeken, shared his current perspective on this defining role in his career.

Introduced in season 5, Theo Raeken quickly established himself as a manipulative and strategic antagonist. But for Cody Christian, Theo was never simply a “villain.” In fact, he does not see him that way. According to him, it’s just Theo’s nature, and he doesn’t see any other way the character could function. As a result, he also greatly enjoyed playing the role. “Being able to portray this character, all the complexities, and really play on multiple levels at once was so much fun for me as an actor,” he explains.

Will Cody Christian be in the second Teen Wolf: The Movie?

Cody Christian also used this interview to answer the question all Teen Wolf fans are asking : will he appear in the second film? While he remains cautious about any official announcements, the actor acknowledges that the show’s universe still has strong storytelling potential. He points out that several characters’ stories, including Theo Raeken’s, could still be developed in a meaningful and coherent way, as long as the evolution established in the later seasons is respected. Without confirming his involvement, he suggests he would be open to it. “I would love to have that opportunity. I’d simply say to Tyler Posey : if it ever happens, you have my phone number, so call me,” he jokes.
